Allow me to whisk you away to a hidden treasure nestled in Negros Oriental. This quaint café, perched atop a hill, offers breathtaking views of the island of Cebu and the Tañon Strait. What sets this place apart is not just the view, but also the refreshing mountain air.
To make the most of your visit, I recommend arriving in the morning, or late in the afternoon to avoid the harsh midday sun. They are open from 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
The journey may take around 40 minutes, but rest assured, the destination is well worth it. This unique café offers both mountain and ocean vistas, along with a selection of light meals and snacks.
On my third visit here, I indulged in Banana Turon and Puto at Tsokolate. The puto, a popular breakfast dish among Dumagueteños, is a steamed sticky rice delicacy wrapped in banana leaves and served with a hot chocolate drink locally known as 'tsokolate'. Made from cacao tablets, this drink perfectly complements the puto.
Reservations are typically not necessary as the café is not usually crowded, especially on weekdays. However, for larger groups or to ensure a smooth visit, I recommend reaching out to them via their Facebook page.

On my next visit, I plan to sample their native chicken recipes.
Hope to see you there!
